A Slice of Cake

Carissa passed on soon after her late husband.

The family once again asked the Grim Reaper to spare another Blue...but were once again denied.

She also was short of completing her aspiration of becoming fabulously wealthy. Too bad her goal wasn't to be comfortably middle class.

After a few days of feeling blue, they were finally back to their normal happy selves.

It was time for the very high energy Jett to celebrate his birthday.

 
He also decided to cut his hair.

Elle's pregnancy was finally at its end.

She opted for another home birth...

...baby Reno joined the family.

Nash discovered a new house guest.

He was less than pleased.

And Elle wasn't particularly delighted at being woken up in the middle of the night.

Both boys had social aspirations, so they tried to do every activity (including homework) with another person.

Little Reno transitioned into a toddler.

Elle still continued the tradition of always reading a toddler to sleep.

 
She also continued to work on her aspiration of becoming a mansion baron. Since the lot was already as full as it could be, she started working on a downstairs. A room was created especially for Jett.

She also took up the writing hobby. She needed all of the extra funds she could get to build her 200k dream home.

Kade took over Chad's role as the family cook. No one particularly enjoyed his dinners though.

When Jett and Nash weren't busy with homework, they were at the clubhouse trying to make as many friends as possible.

While Reno was busy building up his toddler skills.

To show off the house Elle had been working on hard on, the Blues threw a rocking house party.

 
There was a bit of fire...

...and a lot of cute dancing by sweet little Reno.

Overall, it was a success. Sadly, it was 1 slice of cake short of a gold medal.

Like with most house parties, the family was left to deal with all of the trash.

Although, Elle still made sure to end the night with a story.

Currently, the Blue house is worth 130k. The basement is almost completely furnished. I may need to start on a third floor to finish of Elle's aspiration.
