Social Butterflies

It was finally time for Kade and Elle to be officially married.

They had a fancy backyard ceremony.

And Elle donned a light blue gown.

A few obligatory wedding guest pictures...

The party was a silver medal success.

Afterward, Nash continued to work on his social skills. He wanted to get a jump start on his adult aspiration.

While Elle and Kade spent their 'honeymoon' going to work.

Meanwhile,  Reno was trying to complete his rambunctious scamp aspiration. He decided to go a different route than his two big brothers.

...

Nash managed to complete the social butterfly aspiration before his birthday.

While Jett followed quickly in his footsteps

Last but not least, Reno knocked his aspiration out (with 6 days to spare!)

 It was finally time for Jett to celebrate his birthday.

He decided that it was time again for long hair.

The family decided to celebrate with a family vacation! (It couldn't go any worse than the Blue's first vacation back 2 generations ago.)

The family voted to forgo tent camping and opted to rent a cabin.

Elle bonded with her two eldest sons over a game of horseshoe.

While Kade and Reno opted for a hike.

...though Kade ended up ditching Reno.

And joining the rest of the gang at the horseshoe pit.

Reno didn't seem too fazed.

He even did a bit of fishing. (Not sure where he was keeping his pole the entire time.)

The family later grilled his catch.

And he resumed his relationship with his father like nothing happened.

Jett decided to spin a tall tale...

He was on fire!

Literally.

This put a damper on the otherwise enjoyable vacation.

Reno wasn't even too upset that he had to sleep on the couch. (The bed situation wasn't ideal.)

In the morning, Jett grilled up some burgers for breakfast.

And Nash handled the lunch situation.

After filling up on grilled goodies the Blues returned home. They decided to only do a 1-day vacation due to Elle wanting to keep costs down. (She didn't have the mansion she dreamed of quite yet.)

*I'm guessing a bus dropped them off due to the random other sims that arrived with them.*

The only casualty from the trip was the garbage can.

...

I'm so far behind on Kade's aspiration. I still haven't been able to make 2 sims dislike him. Sigh.

This is where I stand for Elle's:

Sometimes It's Hard to be Bad

Kade was trying to master his aspiration of becoming a public enemy, but he was having trouble getting 2 sims to dislike him.

He just wasn't good at being a jerk.

He couldn't even properly spill a drink on someone.

Note: It is a red slushie. No Sims were injured in the making of this chapter. (Though I cannot make this same guarantee in all chapters.)

It was finally time to celebrate Reno's transition into childhood.

Out of the 3 boys, he took most after Elle.

He wasn't the only birthday boy.

An enthusiastic Kade helped Nash celebrate his transition into teenagehood.

Like father, like son.

Though he was definitely no pro at the workout equipment.

Even Reno was trying to give him pointers.

Jett was busy trying to knock out his social aspiration. In only a few days it would be his turn to transition into a teenager.

It was Elle's turn to celebrate her birthday.

Now she was officially an adult. No more young in front of her age group.

While Kade was making his transition into an elder.

The entire family was actually here for that one.

Afterwards, the Blue boys finished up the celebration with some riveting homework.

I need to pay more attention. I though Kade was transitioning from a young adult to an adult. Ooops. He was actually transitioning into an elder. I didn't realize there was such an age gap between Kade and Elle.
